Prof. Youjun Zhang is the Director General of the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. His research mainly focuses on the outbreak mechanism and green control basis of major vegetable pests including whitefly (Bemisia tabaci), diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella), thrip (Frankliniella occidentalis), spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) and chive maggot (Bradysia odoriphaga), etc. He has published >200 papers in Cell, Nature Communications, PNAS, Science Advances, Advanced Science as the corresponding author. These achievements have been selected as the Top 10 Scientific and Technological Progresses of China (2021) and the Top 10 Major Advances in Agricultural Science of China (2021 & 2022), and the 2023 SIP Impact Award.

· Vice-Chair

	Shaohui Wang is a professor at Beijing University of Agriculture. Dr. Shaohui Wang’s research focuses on the prevention and control of root knot nematode, the obstacle of continuous cropping of plant tomato, and the key technology of factory tomato production, mainly for the key technology of modern large-scale multi-greenhouse tomato soilless cultivation, how to improve the quality, increase and efficiency of research.
	Jie Zhang is a professor at Beijing University of Agriculture. Dr. Jie Zhang’s research focuses on apple coloring mechanism and fruit organic cultivation technology, etc. He is mainly teaches "Fruit Tree Cultivation", "Horticultural Plant Breeding", "Agricultural Product Quality Certification", etc. He currently chairs and participates in 4 projects at the national and provincial levels. He took six courses in school and won many awards from Beijing and the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
	Zhanying Kou is the Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF, CAAS). She has a long career in agricultural technology management. She formerly served as the deputy head of the Personnel Department (Party Committee Office) of the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center. In November 2020, she was appointed as the Director of the Veterinary Public Health Department of the Chinese Center for Animal Disease Control and Prevention.
	Yong Ji is currently a professor and deputy director at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF, CAAS). He once served as deputy director of the Personnel Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and deputy director of the Major Tasks Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

· Convener

Dr. Haiping Wang is currently a professor at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He is mainly engaged in the research of genetic diversity and phylogeny of vegetable germplasm resources, construction of core germplasm of major vegetables, and research on innovative utilization of vegetable germplasm based on modern biotechnology. He has edited and co-edited 7 books, published over 130 papers in international and domestic journals such as Nature Genetics, Molecular Plant, Nucleic Acids Research, and Horticulture Research. He holds 19 authorized invention patents, 3 international patents, and 12 software copyrights.

· Organizing Committee members

	Dr. Yanning Zhai is currently a professor at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF, CAAS). She serves as the deputy director of the Genetic Resources Branch of the Chinese Society of Agriculture and as the secretary general of the National Technical Committee for Vegetable Standardization. Dr. Yanning Zhai obtained her master’s degree from the University of Birmingham and her PhD degree from the Graduate school of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
	Dr. Yangyong Zhang is currently a professor and the deputy director at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF, CAAS). He is mainly engaged in the research on cabbage germplasm innovation, variety development, whole genome sequencing , gene localization and functional analysis, etc. He has published more than 50 papers on top journals such as Nature Genetics, Nature Communications and Horticulture Research. He has bred 20 new cabbage varieties and obtained 15 patents.
	Fang Wang is the Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF, CAAS). She formerly served as deputy head of the Legal Affairs Office of the Changshou District Political Consultative Conference in Chongqing, Deputy Director of the Platform Construction Management Department of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning, CAAS and Director of the Party Committee Office.
	Professor Lei Li Division Director of Technology Management and International Collaboration, Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF-CAAS). Professor Li expertise in agricultural strategic planning, international project management and industry strategic initiatives in the areas of Horticulture and Vegetables research. She participanted in preparation of National 13th and14th Five-Year Plan of Horticulture Science and Technology strategic reports, and have extensive management experience in planning and executing national projects, as well as in international strategic cooperation in horticultural science and industry.
	Ms Congying Li Program Officer, Technology Management and International Collaboration, Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF-CAAS). Officer Li graduated from Xi’an International Studies University, now works in position as a foreign affairs coordinator，performs various tasks involving Foreign Affairs processing, preparing & reviewing the procedures for employees going abroad and paper works of invitation for visiting experts；participating in the foreign affairs reception and activities of the institute; joining organization and implementation of foreign affairs activities.
	Prof. Jiangping Song is an expert in the field of vegetable germplasm resources. She is a professor at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF, CAAS). She is mainly engaged in the selection of excellent vegetable germplasm resources, the application of biodegradable membrane culture technology in garlic cultivation and the management of national vegetable gene bank.
	Prof. Zhang is an expert in the field of vegetable germplasm resources. He is interested in the researches on the Cruciferous vegetables and the wild relatives. Use genetic, genomic and transcriptomic technology to investigate the genetic diversity, explore the horticultural important genes in the germplasm resources. And also innovate new germplasm by distant hybridization of inter- species and inter-genera. Current research focus on developing genome editing technology to improve homoelogous chromosome cross over and introduce genetic introgression in distant hybrid plants.
	Dr. Yang Wenlong, graduated from Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2006 to 2018, he was engaged in wheat molecular breeding research in the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In December 2018, he joined the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to engage in precise identification of vegetable germplasm resources and related scientific research. Mainly focus on the mechanism of key functional genes related to vegetable quality and disease resistance, develop effective molecular markers, and explore the genetic evolution relationship of germplasm resources; he also conducts research on cryopreservation of lily resources, etc. He has published over 100 research papers in academic journals.
	Dr. Huixia Jia is currently a professor at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF, CAAS). She is mainly engaged in research on collection and preservation, evaluation and innovative utilization of vegetable germplasm resources. The main work focuses on the genetic diversity and molecular basis of important traits of vegetable germplasm such as garlic, cucumber, etc. She has published more than 20 research papers as the first or corresponding author. She has presided eight scientific research projects, such as the National Science and Technology Basic Resources Survey project and the National Natural Science Foundation Project.
	Dr. Tingting Zhang is currently a postdoctor at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (IVF, CAAS). She is mainly focuses on the conservation of vegetable germplasm resources. She is engaged in the research on the exploration and functional study of excellent genes in garlic germplasm resources; Her research engages in the discovery of excellent genes in garlic, common bean and Brassica rapa resources and the creation of new species.
	Dr. Yang Wang is currently a research assistant at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He previously focused on meiosis gene cloning work in rice. Recently, he has mainly been engaged in gene editing work in the field of garlic sexual reproduction.
